Hey Ladies-
Thanks for all of your well wishes & Suzy's good karma, it worked! I have been offered a position at a Shawnee Mission elementary school, which was my first choice. I like the library, principal, the faculty that I've met so far, so I think it will be good. I haven't told my principal quite yet. I go to sign a letter of intent tomorrow, so I'll tell her on Monday. Thanks for all of your support!

As for the 1/2 marathon, it went great! I never walked, although I think I might have walked faster at times! I finished in 2:25, so not impressed with my time, but now I have a time to beat. I was jello until about Wed. Now I'm starting to train again on Monday for Hospital Hill in June! Crazy I know! Everyone have a great weekend! We're house hunting--no sell yet but praying that changes soon.
Yeaaaahhh! So glad. Like Cristy said, you will enjoy the pay increase and I don't know about others in KC, but the Lee's Summit district does support their libraries quite well, financally and educationally.
